Premier League Predictions 2024/25

Will Man City secure an unprecedented fifth title in a row? Can Arteta’s Arsenal finally break through, or will Man United or Liverpool surprise us all?

Claiming their first Premier League title in over 20 years, I have Arsenal. After pushing City close in back-to-back seasons, they’ve continued improving. The addition of Calafiori and the return of Timber should stabilise their left-back issues. The big question remains: can they score enough goals to surpass the reigning champions?

In second, I’ve placed Man City. With no major signings and the loss of Álvarez, a slight dip is possible. De Bruyne’s fitness is a growing concern, which could affect Haaland’s output. Although, you can never write off Guardiolas Man City.

Third goes to Liverpool under Arne Slot, inheriting Klopp’s squad packed with talent and experience. However, their ongoing struggle to land a world-class midfielder could hinder them over a long and tough campaign.

At the other end of the table, I predict Ipswich will be relegated, along with Southampton and Nottingham Forest. Although Ian McKenna is a highly-rated coach, I’m doubtful his squad is ready for Premier League football. Southampton have a fighting chance with several former top-flight players, but I think the competition is just too strong. As for Nottingham Forest, after two seasons of barely surviving, another points deduction could be the final blow.
